Whether you admit it or not your excuses and choices have shaped who you have become. A great philosopher once said “Your life is a result of the excuses you have chosen to accept.”
Your excuses are kind of like cement, at first you can mold and shape them how you want, but over time they solidify and your life is shaped by them. It’s a lot harder to change after it has hardened. A lot of people live their lives and make excuse after excuse for not going after their dream or passion. Towards the end some realize that they never lived. They get stuck and feel they can’t change.
The pain of discipline is far less than the pain of regret.
Stop making excuses for not going after your dream or passion and act. It doesn’t matter how hard the cemet has become. Find your jackhammer and plow through your excuses. Don’t live a life thats made for you, live one that you create.
Are you going to let your excuses shape your life?
This guy pretty much nails it:
